Don’t Let The Bastards - Series 1 - 007

I created this piece as a message passed amongst women, like those messages you used to write to your friends at school. The idea that each person added their own copy of the iconic phrase, their own form of protest. This piece also features the phrase in latin taken from an actual page from a copy of the book. 

I have also used my finger prints to put the lines of ink on to the page, and used my own handwriting for the first time. The page has been folded like it would have been as a message passed in secret.
